I need help to analyze the statistics.

I'm trying to understand statistics details on LMS - Statistics On first sight, dashboard show this numbers, for example: Total Student: 389 Total Instructors: N/A Total Course Taken: 2481 Total Badges: 45 Total Certificates:45

1. What does "total course taken" means? Is it total course taken by students?

In Course Tab I see many details and I 'm struggling to understand this tab.

• Total Students taking courses:2481
• Courses Started By Students: 560
• Total Courses Finished by Students: 146
• Total Units Finished by Students: 5651
• Total Quiz Finished by Students: 284

1. So... If I have 389 total students in my site, Why I have Total Students taking courses: 2481 and 560 Courses Started By Students...?

2. I have a course with 410 students, but I only have 389 students registered in whole site... Where are the rest of students? Or Why I see this number..

Where can I see more statistics detaileds of each course.? Best regards...

**What does "total course taken" means? Is it total course taken by students? yes it is.

• Total Students taking courses:2481 => suppose every student taking 6 courses then  389*6= 2334
• Courses Started By Students: 560 => students who have started the course means their start course button have been changed into continue course button.
• Total Courses Finished by Students: 146 => finished courses by students
• Total Units Finished by Students: 5651 => students have completed 5651 units in different-2 courses.
• Total Quiz Finished by Students: 284 +> total no. of quizzes given by students in different courses.

1. So... If I have 389 total students in my site, Why I have Total Students taking courses: 2481 and 560 Courses Started By Students...? answer: already described above.

2. I have a course with 410 students, but I only have 389 students registered in whole site... Where are the rest of students? Or Why I see this number.. answer: you can set a fake no. of students in a course. it shows a fake no. it has nothing to do with 389.
