April 6, 2016 at 3:09 pm #41491AndresParticipantHi, I'm running WPLMS 1.9.9 and the login feature doesn't seem to work.
- Log-in requires two steps: the first is the AJAX login; once the user writes the login details in the AJAX login window, the standard Wordpress login window comes up (regardless of whether correct or incorrect login details have been provided on the AJAX login window)
- I can't make the social login work using Facebook
April 7, 2016 at 10:42 am #41621Anshuman SahuKeymaster1. Is your site hosted on wp-engine .If yes then please refer : https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/fixing-login-widget-on-wplms-sites-hosted-on-wpengine-com/ 2. Please check f you have filled the api settings correct . refer the tip : https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/bp-social-connect-integration-with-wplms/ Please also make sure that you provide the redirect uri in the app settings . Can you please share more information on the fb login ,exactly what issue you are facing after cliking on fb login button (share some screenshot or something ) .April 7, 2016 at 12:45 pm #41662AndresParticipantHi Alex, I did update to the latest version of plugins/theme after all. The top bar with the login / subscribe link doesn't come up any more at all - but I've posted a different message on that issue, so let's leave that aside. The social login is still not working - it is now giving me a "jQuery is not defined" error (see screenshot). To answer your questions: no - I'm not using WPEngine, just a plain install (but in a subfolder, /wordpress). What do you mean by "provide the redirect uri in the app settings"? AndresApril 7, 2016 at 2:14 pm #41696AndresParticipantFollow up: I'm not sure why, but the register link doesn't work any more either now - when I click on "Register" it opens the home page. Andres [edit] This is cookie-dependent, apparently. Please ignore this specific post (but not the ones before). [/edit]April 8, 2016 at 11:11 am #41883Anshuman SahuKeymasterLogin/register link issue . Already replied on other topic . facebook login issue on wp-login login screen . This is known issue in wplms as of now . We will be fixing this in the upcoming updates of bp social connect plugin . Thanks for reporting this .April 10, 2016 at 1:36 pm #42193AndresParticipantHi Alex, what about the two-step login? How do I fix this? I could disable the FB login for now, but the two-step login is really confusing for the user.- Log-in requires two steps: the first is the AJAX login; once the user writes the login details in the AJAX login window, the standard Wordpress login window comes up (regardless of whether correct or incorrect login details have been provided on the AJAX login window)
April 11, 2016 at 12:59 pm #42375Anshuman SahuKeymasterWell i am sorry this is issue still pending .Right now as we are overloaded with the development of the batches plugin and other major bug fixes in theme . We will be fixing this soon . Thanks for patience .April 20, 2016 at 10:41 am #43894AndresParticipantHi Alex, are you telling me that you are selling a system were the users need to write the login details TWICE before logging in? That will be very confusing for the users - especially because ANY details can be written the first time. I have been reporting problems with the login feature for 2 months now - done all the upgrades required (which in turn always break something that I have to fix) and I still have no working log-in for my customer. Andres PS: it's not even in the Trello to-do list! How are the developers going to know that this has to be fixed?April 21, 2016 at 12:46 pm #44127Anshuman SahuKeymasterWell we are working on the bp social connect issue with the facebook login already . About your other issue with the modern theme login popup redirecting to wp-login screen : Few questions : Is your site is hosted on wp-engine . If yes then please refer this tip : https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/fixing-login-widget-on-wplms-sites-hosted-on-wpengine-com/ Are you using any login redirect or login related plugin ? Please try deactivating third party plugins for this . If above does not helps then please share your site url and admin credentials too check this issue at your end . -
