October 3, 2015 at 3:23 pm #1441CharlielynParticipantAll my quiz questions are auto-evaluating properly except matching answers. In WPLMS>COURSE MANAGER, I have included this type to auto-evaluate. http://prntscr.com/8n9xpu An example is question: Key Q 2.3.16 Recall for Unit Quiz: Key 2.3 Quiz With this and one more fix about gravitars, I can publicize my site. Thanks for helping. thedreamersinstitute.comOctober 5, 2015 at 9:49 am #1528Anshuman SahuKeymasterPlease make sure that you have updated version of the wplms theme 1.9.8 and vibe course module plugin version 1.9.8.4 . Please check the match answer question settings as per this video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k342Fu_opiA Also check if comments are enabled from back end question edit page .
Discussion settings are set as per documentation.

October 6, 2015 at 9:19 pm #1750CharlielynParticipantI watched the video and noted your comments. All these have been double checked: theme and plugins updated, matching questions set up properly, comments enables, comment moderation disabled, permalinks are postname, question type is listed in COURSE SETTINGS. No changes made. I have no trouble with auto-evaluation, by the way, with any of the multiple choice or multiple correct answers. Just can't get matching answers to work. Can you check to see why this problem remains? An example is question: Key Q 2.3.16 Recall for Unit Quiz: Key 2.3 QuizOctober 7, 2015 at 1:20 pm #1875Anshuman SahuKeymasterPlease also check these :1. Quiz is set on auto evaluate mode in Quiz Settings
2. Comments are enabled for all the questions in the quiz
3. The question types in the quiz are selected in WPLMS options panel->Course Manager->Auto Evaluate question types
If this is also set and still issue is appearing then also try deactivating the third party plugins and check again . If above does not helps then please share your admin credentials and site url to check the issue at your end . PS : mark reply private before sharing credentails
October 7, 2015 at 6:10 pm #1915CharlielynParticipantI have about a dozen 3rd-party plugins. I deactivated them one by one and then tested them. None fixed the problem (all 3 of my matching answers questions do not work in the course). I went thru all related settings again- WPLMS options panel->Course Manager->Auto Evaluate question types, http://prntscr.com/8n9xpu Discussion settings are as required http://prntscr.com/8otdni Quiz is set on auto evaluate mode in Quiz Settings http://prntscr.com/8ot5mfQuiz Key 2.3 Quiz question is Key Q 2.3.16 Recall for Unit http://prntscr.com/8ot84w Comments are enabled for the question in the quiz, (1 question quiz) http://prntscr.com/8otb3h Question is set up correctly http://prntscr.com/8otfld Site- https://thedreamersinstitute.com Username: Developer I know this is a pain. Quiz: 15 Keys Midterm, Question: Key Mid Q30 [matching]October 9, 2015 at 7:18 pm #2246hasanjavaidParticipantHi, I have a similar question regarding to the above topic and that is The dropdown select quiz type is not saving the marked answers. I mean when you set it up like the way mentioned here as well as in the link below: http://vibethemes.com/forums/forum/wordpress-html-css/wordpress-themes/wplms/tips-tricks-docs/19831-tip-creating-a-select-from-dropdown-question-type When a user submits the answers, it displays "You have few unanswered questions. Do you want to submit anyways?", although all the answers have been selected from the dropdown selection and if you still go ahead, the result display blank marked answers to the user as well as instructor admin/submission area. Please help as this is very critical.October 10, 2015 at 11:26 am #2333Anshuman SahuKeymasterwe checked your site and found that you have given spaces between the commas in the correct answer field at the backend . Please do not give spaces in the correct answer field in match multiple and sort tye questions . Check : http://i.imgur.com/RXiQpAk.png I removed spaces then it worked fine : http://i.imgur.com/4aFXCOx.png Dropdown have an issue .The script detects the value change action in the dropdown. If the value has been changed then only the script saves the answer . If you set the right answer to be at 1st position then the user do not have to change the dropdown value and the answer in dropdown will not save . We will fix this error in next update ,till then you can use the multiple choice question type OR SEt the correct answer at any position except number 1 .October 16, 2015 at 10:18 pm #3387CharlielynParticipantLooks to be resolved.
