March 29, 2022 at 11:50 am #382603PhysiotutorsParticipantHello On our site we sell online courses and webinars. We want to offer a subscription that includes all current and future webinars. The online courses should stay a one-time purchase. What would be the best way to set this up? I heard of Woocommerce Subscriptions and WooCommerce Memberships in combination to allow us to assign certain webinars to a subscription that has automatic recurring payments as long as a user doesn't cancel their subscription. We'd like to offer a monthly and yearly recurring payment option for this subscription. Please advise with necessary plugins and workflow.March 30, 2022 at 3:39 pm #382684VeronicaModeratorhi for future recurring payments you can use woo-commerce membership or PMPRO but NOTE: the course will not be allocated automatically it will be allot when course home page is opened by userMarch 31, 2022 at 6:40 am #382736PhysiotutorsParticipantWhat we want to achieve is that a user buys the membership and then can start the webinars that are connected to this membership. On the other hand when a user wants to access a webinar that's within a membership they are prompted to buy said membership. Is that possible?March 31, 2022 at 3:34 pm #382790VeronicaModeratorhi buys the membership and then can start the webinars this is not available but you can use pmpro and post restrictions in order to do thatApril 5, 2022 at 9:21 am #382994PhysiotutorsParticipantwhat about your WPLMS WooCommerce Memberships plugin integration? Can we use that as well to restrict courses to a particular membership? and then use WooCommerce Subscriptions to allow recurring payments/automatic billing?April 6, 2022 at 2:04 pm #383086VeronicaModeratorhi no they cannot used together you have to decide what your priority is reoccurring payment , or memberships where when you add new course to membership user will be allotted to this new course when she opens the course home pageApril 6, 2022 at 4:28 pm #383110PhysiotutorsParticipantBecause according to Woocommerce you can leverage memberships with their subscription plugin for recurring payments. So could you please explain how we would have to set this up? We want to offer a membership WITH recurring payment that includes specific courses.April 7, 2022 at 3:21 pm #383171VeronicaModeratorhi in wplms we cannot these both are leverages differently in wplms for courses subscriptions has its own addon of wplms and memberships has different addon also with memberships it only works with fixed access length not with subscription length settingApril 8, 2022 at 7:51 am #383201PhysiotutorsParticipantAre there plans to make this work in WPLMS? Because isn't a membership with a recurring subscription that gives access to new content as long as the subscription is active the best scenario for an e-learning platform? What is the point to have a membership that doesn't renew automatically? Can you provide an alternative though? I will again lay out the scenario: 1. User subscribes to a membership for e.g. €9/month or €99/year. These amounts are automatically charged either monthly (€9) or yearly (€99) until the user decides to cancel the subscription 2. With that membership the user has access to a selection of courses currently on the site AND can access new courses that will be released each month as long as the subscription is active. 3. When the user cancels the subscription, they lose access to the courses. In my opinion this is the most straightforward explanation of what a membership subscription should look like. That's what every big player does (Netflix, etc). Would this be possible with another membership plugin? so: A) recurring payment in chosen intervals B) automatic access granted to new content within active subscription C) revoking access once subscription expiresApril 19, 2022 at 3:51 pm #383770Anshuman SahuKeymasterWell you can use subscritions addon for that only and use this bundled product, In your subscription product select more than one courses to give access to subscription duration for all the courses which are associated with subscription product : https://wplms.io/support/forums/topic/how-to-create-a-bundle-of-course-hard-book/#post-237631 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DN9DKUSeoIga
