February 24, 2016 at 5:03 pm #31773RobDaviesSpectatorWe're having an issue with mega menu - using a standard wordpress menu we can achieve a menu positioning on our site as per this link http://nilc.co.uk/ If we use mega menu we gain more control over columns and colours (which we want ) but the menu always drops down by approx 2 lines beneath the search icon. I'm suspecting its something to do with menu container size but I'm not seeing how to do this. On Demo2 for WPLMS - http://themes.vibethemes.com/wplms/skins/demo2/ I can see menu layout that matches our desired aim - with our resetting our customisations and applying the skin what is the best way to do this?February 25, 2016 at 2:06 pm #32064H.K. LatiyanParticipantI am unable to replicate this issue on my test setup. The update will be available tomorrow eod, so you can update us on this after the update.February 25, 2016 at 4:42 pm #32110RobDaviesSpectatorThanks - I'll apply the update when it comes out. One question - which menu plugin do you recommend? I have a feeling my users may have removed the plugin that came with themeFebruary 26, 2016 at 9:55 am #32285H.K. LatiyanParticipantPlease share more information on this. Because the theme has no menu plugin. Menus are set from the standard wordpress menu settings from the wp-admin->appearance->menus.February 26, 2016 at 10:00 am #32287RobDaviesSpectatorHi Latiyan That makes sense - positioning is perfect when we use the standard WordPress menus However the sites owner wants to achieve something that looks like the demos on http://themes.vibethemes.com/wplms/skins/demo1/ or http://themes.vibethemes.com/wplms/skins/demo2/ And had started down the line of Mega Menu plugins before I joined the project To achieve the drop downs for example on the Courses Option of Demo2 - is that being achieved through a CSS update to generate multi columns or is there something else going on ?February 26, 2016 at 10:28 am #32299H.K. LatiyanParticipantOn our demo we have built mega menu. If you want to make mega menu similar to our demo then please refer this tip: https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/setting-up-mega-menu-in-wplms/February 26, 2016 at 10:56 am #32310RobDaviesSpectatorDoh! It was in there all the time - just didn't relate to it being in Sidebars Actually - using widgets is a clever solution - thank you Just one question can you let me know where the CSS Color attribute for hover an item in this menu - it looks like I have to adjust that Thank youFebruary 26, 2016 at 11:27 am #32323RobDaviesSpectatorScratch that last question I just realised I had the answer anyway My apologies for wasting your time thanks for the 5 star SupportFebruary 26, 2016 at 11:31 am #32325H.K.
