October 30, 2019 at 9:03 am #231653dianaw84SpectatorHi, Yesterday I bought Custom Learning Paths add-on. I tried to create a CLP but when I try to view it, it gives me a white page. This is the video: https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cq6vjtu8oz Am I doing something wrong? Or there is a problem on my site? Thank you!October 31, 2019 at 9:50 am #231789Scott LangModeratorThis reply has been marked as private.October 31, 2019 at 10:57 am #231799dianaw84SpectatorThis reply has been marked as private.October 31, 2019 at 12:39 pm #231812Scott LangModeratorHi, Issue fixed: http://prntscr.com/pqmqdq We have saved the permalink.October 31, 2019 at 3:25 pm #231839dianaw84SpectatorThank you very much! I have a question: how can I sell a "custom learning path", connecting it on a Woocommerce product? I would sell a group of courses (the courses on learning path), this courses are available only if bought all togheter in the learning path. How could I do? Thank you again!November 1, 2019 at 8:20 am #231923Scott LangModeratorHi, You can not sell a custom-learning path. But if you want to sell your course in a group you can use WPLMS-batch-plugin, Refer this do: http://vibethemes.com/downloads/wplms-batches/November 1, 2019 at 8:23 am #231925Scott LangModeratorThe learning path is only used if you complete any step it triggered some function for the user. Like badge assign, point adds etc.November 4, 2019 at 3:05 pm #232246dianaw84SpectatorOk, I understand. I have seen this topic https://wplms.io/support/forums/topic/sale-learning-paths-via-woocommerce/ and I thought, after asking in another topic, that it was possible (sell custom learning path). In case is possible to do that by custom request? If is not, eventually is possible to request refund for this add on? Alternatively, as you suggested, with WPLMS-batch-plugin, is possible to display batch courses only inside batch (not with "normal" course) and on student dashboard is possible to show batch courses in another "section" (I would like to not show the course inside batch in My Courses section). I don't know if I explain well what I mean... Thank you!November 5, 2019 at 6:39 am #232290Scott LangModeratorHi, WPLMS-batch-plugin: WPlms-batch plugin is used to connect multiple courses with restrictions to access. So that users can join multiple courses at once after only enrolling to linked batch to courses. Yes, batch(is like BuddyPress-group with the custom feature) courses are already shown in the batch page. refer this: https://wplms.io/groups/batch-a/ But the batch courses are showing in the different tab is not yet added.November 5, 2019 at 8:19 am #232305dianaw84SpectatorOk thank you for your explanations. I would try to explain better the reason of all my questions, maybe you can suggest the right way to create what I need:
- I need to create a sort of "school", that is a set of "mini" courses (they can be defined as subjects).
- These mini courses are not visible in the courses directory, the only way to join to any mini courses is to enroll the entire school. For doing this, I thought to connect them to a Woocommerce product or a batch.
- Anyone can buy the "school". It's not possible to buy a mini courses individually.
- After buy the "school", is possible to attend the mini courses not in a default order (there is no sequence to follow). But in the "school page" I would to show the mini courses in a specific order (I repeat, even if students can enroll mini courses in the order they prefer).
- If a student has finished with success all the mini courses can access to the final quizzes. After passed them, he obtains the school certificate.
- Finally, since the "mini courses" are not independent courses like normal courses, I would like, if possible, that they don't appear in the "My courses section" on the student dashboard. To access to the "school's mini courses", students can go to the school page and click on the listed courses.
November 5, 2019 at 2:09 pm #232377Scott LangModeratorWell, School = Batch Mini-Course = Normal course Just connect your courses with batch and ready to go... To sell your batch use buy batch feature refer this doc: https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/wplms-buy-batch-feature/ You can hide a particular course from course directory using setting with Site-Admin-panel>WPLMS>Course Manager>Hide Courses from Directory But you can not hide batch-course from the My-course section. After enrolling batch then batch-course will work like normal-course.November 13, 2019 at 3:15 pm #233346dianaw84SpectatorHi, thank you very much for your help. But maybe I need CLP anyway, to make possible to obtain school final certificate. Is possible to enroll a student in a CLP automatically (not clicking on enroll custom learning path button) when he is added to all the CLP (and Batch) courses? Thank you again!November 14, 2019 at 2:19 pm #233473Scott LangModeratorHi, User need to click to enroll button for CLP, Default Settting does not exist for this. -
