Not Receiving Assignment Submission Notification Email

I've enabled the email notification when assignments are submitted but I'm not receiving any emails from the website. I've made sure that the email I want it to go to is set as the author of the course.

Hi, Make sure you have filled in the fields in lms>>settings>>emails and enabled touchpoints . https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MnFsXqvEjJw7xB9o5wVWNV8B8SKbrpNQ/view please confirm only these touch point emails are not being sent or account activation mail and welcome emails also?
