Notes and Discussion privacy and permission

Hi, in a course when a student writes a note in a unit, all the other students can read it. Is it possible that only the teacher can read the student's comment? Thanks

Sorry this is not available in the per unit mode,but private note is available in the per paragraph mode of notes and discussions . Also student can use the priavte message option . User can message the instructor and this will not be shown to everyone in the course .
