    How can I notify a user who apply to become an instructor that his/her application is waiting approval using buddypress email?

    It displays username, email and password fields. Can this be bypassed because user who wants to become a instructor has already sign up earlier? Any suggestion?

    No, it can't be. Our custom registration forms will not change the roles of any user. So, it simply is not possible for an existing user to sign up as instructor via our custom registration forms.
