    Is it possible to setup WPLMS with PayPal Adaptive Payment, i.e split of order payment to shop-ower and instructor directly? Has anyone tried this?

    No its not possible, wplms already show commissions, if you go to LMS->settings->commissions: you can set commission and pay commission. You can use third party plugins, like WooCommerce PayPal Adaptive Split Payment: http://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-paypal-adaptive-split-payment/7948397
