Pricing Config Question

I am wanting to charge a price for a given course say $75 and then charge for $50 a month for those that want to participate in weekly online conference meeting. Is this possible with this new integration? Also, under these types of configurations is it still possible to do instructor commissions shares and they be accurate for both initial course cost and ongoing monthly commission shares.

Thanks I am kind of wondering could I just create another product for the monthly and then make that an up-sell? And if if I had say 4 courses that used the same upsell product for this and one someone bought course 1 and the upsell then bought course 2 would the upsell not show then?
