September 11, 2016 at 10:44 am #70094kalipubParticipantHello, my classes are currently on YouTube. And when I put my videos in my courses, here is what happens: https://postimg.org/image/55q21ppn9/ How have my videos in my courses? Thanks. David.September 12, 2016 at 7:15 am #70137H.K. LatiyanParticipantYou are adding the direct url of the youtube video. You need to put the embed code in the text mode of the editor. You can also try using the [iframevideo] shortcode to add the embed code. Let me know if this helps.September 12, 2016 at 7:48 am #70147kalipubParticipantI thought that with the new version of wordpress you had just put the link. Do you recommend a plugin to embed YouTube videos? How else simply integrate? Thank you, David.September 12, 2016 at 12:29 pm #70194Anshuman SahuKeymasterWell yes with the new version you just need to put the youtube embed link but that will not make your videos stretch to 100% and responsive . Using iframevideo shortocode will : Use it like this : [iframevideo]<iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/WCchr07kLPE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>[/iframevideo]September 12, 2016 at 1:14 pm #70205kalipubParticipantIt does not work : https://alfange.academy/formations/devenez-libre-grace-a-votre-business-sur-internet/ Do you have a simpler way AND that works? It must be simple (because my instructors do not want to bother with the code). Do you have a plugin to embed YouTube videos? (Even a paid plugin)September 12, 2016 at 9:04 pm #70254kalipubParticipantWhen I put the code you've told me, the following appears: https://postimg.org/image/rwlw7e87n/ (the home page).September 13, 2016 at 7:21 am #70281kalipubParticipantI did the test by placing the Vibe shortcode, and when I backup the video disappears : https://postimg.org/image/3q35tfqtp/September 13, 2016 at 2:05 pm #70369Anshuman SahuKeymasterWell you have to put the iframe code in your units to make the youtube videos run in the course . There is no simple tool to embed YouTube videos available as of now . you can use third party plugins for this .September 13, 2016 at 2:26 pm #70372kalipubParticipant1. I put my shortcode (with Vibe shortcode) and my iframe YouTube : https://postimg.org/image/h8vs9hjr5/ What happens in the Text : https://postimg.org/image/rztss7mcn/ 2. I save 3. I'll see the course (as a student) : https://postimg.org/image/xbcr2g6l3/ 4. I go see (as an instructor) : https://postimg.org/image/mnfcbcd5x/ (iframe link disappeared) Could you go see? I really need to put videos (all my courses are in video).September 14, 2016 at 12:49 pm #70491Anshuman SahuKeymasterCAn you please share your site url and admin credentials to check the issue at your end ? PS : mark reply as private while sharing .September 14, 2016 at 4:11 pm #70530kalipubParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.September 14, 2016 at 4:40 pm #70533kalipubParticipantThis is perhaps a plugin that does malfunction?September 15, 2016 at 2:10 pm #70662Anshuman SahuKeymasterI checked your site and was able to replicate the issue .But i was able to add the video from back end unit edit page . check your-site.com/test-video page Please try deactivating other third party plugins in your site specially the one which are related to caching .September 18, 2016 at 7:03 am #70937kalipubParticipantI disabled 6 plugins that could cause problems ... but nothing changes. To summarize, there are two problems: Side student: https://postimg.org/image/ocj3jfs79/ I can't see the video. Side instructor: https://postimg.org/image/s9smqwfnn/ I don't have the visual editor. Could you watched because I do not know where these problems may come. : /September 20, 2016 at 1:34 pm #71223Anshuman SahuKeymasterWe debugged into this and were not able to replicate the issue at our test and demo setups or none other user has reported the same issue with the shortcodes in text mode . I suspect that is appearing due to a third party plugin . Can you please test this issue on a separate clean install of wplms(maybe on locahost ).
