Registration shortcode only registers as student or instructor

We have 2 shortcodes for registration. One for student and another for instructor. [wplms_registration_form name="main" field_meta=1] [wplms_registration_form name="instructor" field_meta=1] and in this page these 2 shortcodes are used: https://www.hublearn.com/hublearn-lms-features-and-sign-up/ This is how it works: if someone registers as instructor they have to select the Instructor tab and if someone wants to register as student they have to select student tab and fill out their details. After clicking the register button in both cases, following issues:

1. No message shows in the page that you are successfully registered.
2. No email notification goes to the person email, only the admin receives an email and which is simply junk or does not make any sense. Email text are something like this:

[email protected] sent you a new message: "Subscribed for Course" "Student [email protected] subscribed for course : Scorm Package" Go to the discussion to reply or catch up on the conversation: https://www.hublearn.com/members-directory/zakirdevp/messages/view/64/ But they didnt subscribe any courses yet, they just tried to register and they receive above type of email which does not make any sense.

1. In both cases (Either any tab they choose from that page) we noticed they registers as student even they tried to register as instructor.

Our wordpress-settings->General page it shows: New User Default Role: Student Even we change this as Instructor, then when a person wants to register as student then they register as instructor. Does not make any sense to us! So something is not working. Thank you for reply. I initially setup the registration process watching this video few months ago. Exactly followed. Issue now: all registrations are being registered by student even i register as instructor and no welcome email is sent to register and even admin. is there anything i can do? deactivating any plugins and then reactivate?

Please try now. I was deactivateting the buddypress plugin and then site was crashed. Now its ok. But the issue still there. Please help us to address the email issue. https://prnt.sc/vo8mo3 people who registers they dont receive email at all. After we approve the account then only admin of the site receives email.

FYI: we are using WP Mail SMTP to outgoing all emails. Not sure whether this conflicting the email issue. Well that how your youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=czb0FYKcFME mentioned to disable the registration. But If we enable this registration then all sign up goes to student roles. But we have 2 shortcodes for student and instructor in https://www.hublearn.com/hublearn-lms-features-and-sign-up/ And if we disable that registration then all signup in pending mode and if we manually approve them then student account and instructor account correctly set, I mean correct role established. But both case, no email was sent, either welcome email and activation email. but we select correct email templates from buddypress email.

Thats strange, I just enabled the Anyone can register in settings page and i tested the registration and now it works. Welcome email goes. Good. thats what we wanted. But when we copy the registration link for example this: https://www.hublearn.com/activate/YsaVPrCrYJVgJPK1cCCEvraFqMP8Oo1I/ Activate page shows up but on browser title it shows page not found. https://ibb.co/gg7xDPb And when we enter the activation key, their account is approved and then correct role is setup ( in this case instructor.) Thats what wanted. But why the page title shows Page not found.

Should I delete the activate page and create a new blank activate page ?

Yes, the Page Title will show like this Do check if this page is connected properly in wp-admin > Settings . Buddypress > Pages > Activate And wp-admin > WPLMS > Buddypress > redirect on user activation I guess the issue is resolved now
