Setting a new default role

Hello, I want my course students to be able to submit support tickets, but to do that they need to be assigned the 'support user' role. How can I automatically assign students this role when they are registering for the first time? If they are a support user, do they still have normal student privileges? Thanks Junayd

Hello, goto wp-admin-> settings - general -> default role : change this here Refer: https://prnt.sc/ssdqqj and if using custom registration form then change this in its settings . Thanks,
