Setting up Google Font API is not working for me

I created a project and added Google Font API like the guide says, but it did not require med to select Where I would be calling the API from... only which API. In Wordpress, Font Manager, when Api key is saved and I click refresh it says "No results found" when I try to select Fonts.

Also... I have a custom font I want to add... but I only have a .otf file. How would I add this?

It seems like it is an hosting issue with php curl lib . check out these links : http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3345438/ftps-problem-a-tls-packet-with-unexpected-length-was-received?rq=1 There is some security or php curl configuration affecting this . So please contact your webhost to look into this . Please share php error with them .

I see the custom fonts are installed. Thank you. I guess the problem was that I was trying to add CSS not in the customizers Custom CSS men in the appereance-> Editor css editing?

Yes, you needed to add the css for registering the font types in the wp-admin->appearance->customise->custom css.

There has been an issue with the envato market plugin recently with the recent update of wordpress . Please quickly deactivate it and again check your website updates page . refer for more : https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/wordpress-dashboard-500-error/ Please let me know if your fonts issue is resolved ?

No I have already deactivated that plugin. Issue with Google Font API is still there.

Please share your ftp credentials to update the fonts list in your site . PS : mark reply as private while sharing credentials .

Google webfonts list contains so many items in it and this list is saved in form of json in database .So Please also contact your webhost ans ask them if there's is any limit on mysql for a string length .

Did you change something? see that the error is now showing: cURL error 56: GnuTLS recv error (-9): A TLS packet with unexpected length was received.   My FTP creds are further up in private reply.
