Some issues – Assignment and Continue course

Hi There - As requested, posted a topic.

You can see the screenshots in the email sent on Sat 13/10

Here are the issues I am still having.

• Users can not download assignments.
• When you login and get the continue course, it does not take you to the latest module.
• How do I protect the assignment uploads from being public on the internet, or other students to see it.
• I don’t want to see the attachments in the course for the guys to download, I just want them as pictures.

  Details of issues:

  Number 1:

• When I test the course as an admin: I am able to see and download/upload assignments (See pic 1),
• But when I log in as a test user, the download / upload buttons do not appear (see pic 2)

  ISSUE 2

  When you login and click continue course. It does not take you to the last module completed. I have tried to sync in LMS Setting (See picture 3 and 4)

  ISSUE 3

  How do I protect the assignment uploads from being public on the internet, or other students to see it.

  Issue 4:

  My WPLMS is on version 2.4 and asking for an update, but I cant update it. If i follow the manual update procedure, will I loose all my settings, customization etc? https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/manually-updating-wplms/ IF SO, how can i update without loosing anything? (pic

1 . please check if comments are enabled in the assignment by editing the assignment back in wp-admin . 2 . seems like drip feed is enabled in that course . We need to check it . please share your site url , admin credentials in private reply to check this issue at your end .   3 . You can follow this link for this ; https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/37144/how-to-protect-uploads-if-user-is-not-logged-in     Well that is way much ancient version of wplms .A lot has been changed since then .this process would be long . You would not loose any setting but it might distort some of the customizer settings (styling related) to update first please take backup of your whole site files and database .   then first try creating a replica of your site on a test site to test update : refer this to create replica : https://wplms.io/support/forums/topic/how-to-create-wp-staging-environment/   Or if you can restore form backup then there is no need . then first update wordpress from wp-admin -> dashboard -> updates screen .   then update all the plugins from wp-admin -> dashboard -> updates screen , then update your wplms theme manually .

Well the issue is appearing due to very old theme version 2.2.2 . Please update it to latest version 3.7.1 using this tip : https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/manually-updating-wplms/   PS : please take backup before doing update
