Students can't edit their own comments on forums

Hi guys I have a problem with the forums. My students can't edit their own post on the forum, the edit button is not appearing. only the reply. Thanks L

Please note that the forums in wplms are coming form the bbpress plugin and it does not allows the participants to edit their replies after a certain period of time which you set in the forums settings . this is by default feature of bbpress . You can increase this time limit from wp-admin-> settings -> forums : http://prntscr.com/cklqa0
