In short we follow this method - Design changes : Custom CSS Functionality changes : Customizer plugin or WPLMS Child theme functions.php if the plugin is not actie the code will execute. this is a wordpress installation issue not a wplms specific issue .April 18, 2021 at 8:07 am #353149mgozitnParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.April 18, 2021 at 8:24 am #353152mgozitnParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.April 18, 2021 at 9:45 am #353155MrVibeKeymasterFirstly, do note that all the code shared in this channel is very well tested. Some of it may be outdated but it has been tested properly, so your arguments only depict the frustration which is misplaced. Now, we have no (absolutely no one) reporting that plugins-editor is missing. Here's a screenshot from the demo that plugins-editor appears: https://prnt.sc/11mpgea so the most likely reason you're facing is a third party plugin or a capability issue in your user role which may not have access to editing of plugins. Please do check your plugins, consult your web host, the theme and its plugins have absolutely no role to play here. Do note that we are trying to help here on issues not connected to the theme and it very clearly falls outside the purview of theme support. Now, replies to your arguments : 1. "why don’t use FTP to put the code" - FTP does not provide any syntax check, if you make a mistake when your site will go down with error 500. We can not recommend it to our users, if you dig a little deeper you will find many users facing this issue previous to WP 5.0 when the editor was not available. Hence using plugins editor interface is a really good and effective method for making changes. 2. "This WordPress was installed through your help and I never noticed that the editor is not available. What would be the safest method to reinstall the WordPress without breaking the site?" So far we have not seen editor missing in any installation. please check if you installed any third party plugins, for example : ithemes security plugin removes this editor. Also check if you accidentally added this in your wp-config.php : https://wordpress.org/support/article/hardening-wordpress/#disable-file-editing 2. "Can you please forward me the link to download the child theme " The child theme comes in the package itself, in many videos, as old as 2014 videos we have shared to use the child theme. The entire purpose of the child theme is customisation. 3. "Why do you produce articles without testing the codes if they work or not working?" Now I assume you are ignorant about what changes happen when code is copied from web page to an editor interface, kindly learn more on this. This used to be the case previous to WP 5.0 . See this article on wp.org from 2017 : https://make.wordpress.org/core/2017/10/22/code-editing-improvements-in-wordpress-4-9/ , most likely the user whose response you read was using a version below 4.9. Just because another user faced this does not mean you have the same issue. The issue you are facing is not even remotely connected to above use case. If you work towards a solution you will find a solution, if you work towards find problems you will only find a problem.April 18, 2021 at 10:11 am #353157mgozitnParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.April 18, 2021 at 1:04 pm #353162MrVibeKeymasterChild theme installed in your site. I created a new course on your site and added a batch then it shows the batch and start course button is also working. refer here-> https://drive.google.com/file/d/13WAIiQEVUdRd9x_L_8a2xbhhsrhxfhRS/view
