    Is it possible that Instructors can have an incentive to promote their own course and in turn get 100% of the revenue when students sign up for their course using their code or similar. Or is it just possible to have a static commission set in the course settings?

    Possible, install a affiliate plugin (wpaffiliate) and set the affiliate percent as remaining amount of instructor commission.
