April 29, 2016 at 1:49 pm #45543carlh1SpectatorI"ve watched the multisite videos, but wanted to know if there's any gotchas out there for multisite with this theme and the plugins. Should i be running the them on the main root site, or is it ok on a subsite...actually a subdirectory site. I did try to install the plugins and two failed. argh.April 30, 2016 at 11:09 am #45658Anshuman SahuKeymasterPlease refer this tutorial the only trick is to install the buddypress plugin as it operates in wp_users table which is centralized and it is only one in multisite . Can you please tell which plugin failed to install ?May 2, 2016 at 3:56 pm #45983carlh1SpectatorI read about the buddypress tutorial you are talking about: https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/installation-in-wordpress-multisite/ I'll follow that. I don't remember both plugins that failed installation, but one was Vibe Custom Types. Should i install all plugins in the main network admin area, except for buddypress which I install into the subfolder site?May 2, 2016 at 4:02 pm #45986carlh1SpectatorAre there any experts in this particular theme that install for a fee? I've installed about 15 themes in the past, but this one is a bit more complex.May 2, 2016 at 8:04 pm #46015carlh1SpectatorOK, so i installed buddypress as noted above. I reinstalled WPLMS in my subsite. I went to activate the theme, and I'm getting this notification at the top of the page: user was called incorrectly. The current user is being initialized without using $wp->init(). Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 1.7.) in /home3/sozocial/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3897May 3, 2016 at 8:58 am #46125Anshuman SahuKeymasterThere are some plugins that are necessary for wplms and they automatically gets activated and cannot be deactivated once theme is activated as theme is dependent on these plguin . these are : 1. Buddypress 2. Vibe course module. 3. Vibe customtypes Note that if you install wplms on your main site then these plugins will also get network activated . Please install wplms referring the tutorial below . I forgot to share the tutorial before for the multisite installation here it is : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEaxMeM3GOk Please ignore that notices. These are php notices or messages and are not fatal errors although we have to fix these also and we will be fixing these in the update . Please disable the wp-debug option .May 4, 2016 at 3:55 am #46316carlh1SpectatorThanks Alex. I followed what I thoiugght were all of the instructions. I installed buddypress as they say to do for multisite, then I installed wplms. The more I installed the worse it got. Here's some of them: All plugins installed ok except for WPLM Customizer. Here is the initial error for the WPLM Customizer: "The installation and activation process is starting. This process may take a while on some hosts, so please be patient. Installing and Activating Plugin WPLMS Customizer (1/1) Notice: Undefined index: Name in /home3/sozocial/public_html/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/include/classes/updaters/class-vc-updater.php on line 118 Downloading install package from http://sozocial.com/learn/wp-content/themes/wplms/plugins/wplms-customizer.zip… Unpacking the package… Installing the plugin… Plugin installed successfully. Plugin activation failed. Notice: Undefined index: skin_update_failed_error in /home3/sozocial/public_html/wp-content/themes/wplms/includes/plugin-activation.php on line 2119 All installations and activations have been completed." Then when I tried to do the one press setup I recieved all kinds of errors, they are: "Notice: bbp_setup_current_user was called incorrectly. The current user is being initialized without using $wp->init(). Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 2.3.) in /home3/sozocial/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3897 Notice: bp_setup_current_user was called incorrectly. The current user is being initialized without using $wp->init(). Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 1.7.) in /home3/sozocial/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3897 Notice: Undefined index: events_slug in /home3/sozocial/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wplms-eventon/includes/init.php on line 241 Notice: Undefined index: drive_slug in /home3/sozocial/public_html/wp-content/themes/wplms/includes/buddydrive.php on line 466 You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page." Is there anyone I can pay to install this theme?May 4, 2016 at 11:51 am #46433Anshuman SahuKeymasterWell all of these are notices and is appearing coz the plugins are just intalled and there are many values that it does not found in the database . Note that the php notices are not fatal errors or warnings . you can ignore then but although we have to fix these and we will be fixing these in the future updates of wplms . You can disable the wp-debug mode .
