Hi, Could you please confirm the following : 1) If I set the link expiry time as 0 minutes then if someone copies the video link and pastes it in the browser then it will throw an error, right..? 2) Setting link expiry time as 0 minutes won't sacrifice the functioning of the site, students will be able to play the video on the site.

1 . You have to provide atleast 1 minute duration in the s3 shortcodes . 2 Yes it will affect the loading of media to students also . This is dependent on the how much media data is loaded in the set duration . If you set duration param to be 1 then borwser will load the media for 1 minute After that it will not be able to load the media .

Any standard link expiry time to set..? I have some videos that are even 14 to 15 minutes longer.

Well as mentioned above that there is one simple logic that will follow : the amount of duration that you put in shortcode ,for that duration the data will be loaded for the user . Suppose you have provided 5 minutes in the shortcode for a 15 minute video . Now when the page is accessed by the user the video will load from the s3 for 5 minutes . Now if it was loaded for just 10 minutes in 5 minutes then the video will play for 10 minutes only . Actually this is dependent on the internet speed of the user if it is able to load the whole video in 5 minutes .
