January 7, 2016 at 5:21 am #17080BAMParticipantI purchased this add on plugin earlier today and been playing with it for hours and I seem to be a bit confused. I followed all the instructions and watched the videos over and over. What I am trying to accomplish is building a product that users can register for group conference calls and have either monthly or quarterly reoccurring billing through Paypal with no end date until user decided to cancel. I set the Product Attributes to Monthly | Quarterly http://snag.gy/ZEmAF.jpg I also set the product variations for each http://snag.gy/kOszs.jpg This is what I see in Paypal sandbox http://snag.gy/V8NEi.jpg It does not appear to have a monthly reoccurring payments. I have pulled my hair out trying to understand why not...lol Can you help me understand what I am missing. Also on the checkout form it seems there are things I would prefer to not have and look differently if possible. http://snag.gy/IIQCe.jpg For example I am not shipping anything to them so do we really need their address info that just takes up space. When they login into Paypal it should have all their details there I would think instead of checkout since its not a shipping product.January 7, 2016 at 2:39 pm #17222MrVibeKeymastera. Hide the extra checkout fields from WP Admin - WPLMS - Misc - Hide extra woocommerce fields b. Wplms WooCommerce does not provide auto-subscriptions at the moment. For this you'll need to use plugins like : https://www.woothemes.com/products/woocommerce-subscriptions/ or http://codecanyon.net/item/subscriptio-woocommerce-subscriptions/8754068January 7, 2016 at 3:20 pm #17229BAMParticipantThank you...! I see where there second URL for Codecanyon is a lot less money. Can you tell me if I use that will it support the groups membership plugin that you mention in one of your videos? Also, if I go with this one because its much lower in price and for some reason it does not meet my needs in the future will it be possible to switch over the the Woocommerce subscription one later? ThanksJanuary 11, 2016 at 2:55 pm #17901BAMParticipantI did buy the codecanyon plugin but I think I am going to uninstall it. What I learned as i went along is its much cheaper to go with this and especially if your planning on building a small site. But when it comes to scaling I see a lot of flaws with it and think its better to use the woocommerce subscriptions plugin. For one if for any reason they were to stop supporting or wanted to change plugins later. All the subscriptions you have built up to that point would not continue to auto renew if you took the plugin out. I just not willing to risk it in that area but I do thank you very much for suggesting. Do you know where I can get a woocommerce coupon for plugins with good percentage off? Also do you think there will be any problems with uninstalling this plugin and probably the variables plugin I bought off you guys because I think the the regular woocommerce subscriptions one comes with variables. ThanksJanuary 16, 2016 at 5:53 am #18687MrVibeKeymasterI am not sure on this. We have users using WooCommerce subscriptions and Subscriptio, this is the first feedback on subscriptio plugin. No there should not be any issues. WPLMS variations are independent of WooCommerce. So, while plugins like WooCommerce subscriptions or subscriptio will maintain WooCommerce product subscriptions, the WPLMS WooCommerce will maintain Course subscriptions. If you're using both the plugins then you need to make sure the Course subscription (duration) matches with the WooCommerce product subscription for auto-renewal.
