In Wplms 3.8 we have introduced course video feature .

Now set a course video in from front end course edit screens :

You can either paste the link of your video in that field or upload/select video from media library .

This will show a play icon everywhere over the course featured image on clicking upon will show video :

Will this automatically update the course view page? Is there a setting to update this to have the noted “udemy” view?

It will be better if you sync vimeo library on upload section so instructor can easily upload the course video and link here
